Hybrid learning approach and resources

TAAS offers educational courses that combine both theory and practice, thereby encouraging creativity and fostering a desire for learning, serving the community and the world at large. We use the hybrid learning approach to deliver learning by combining face-to-face interactions with online activities.

Potential benefits of blended learning

The ‘unbundling’ of education into informal and digital spaces has many educational and economic benefits for stakeholders, most importantly students. Blended asynchronous learning introduces more flexibility than students are traditionally accustomed to. In doing so, it encourages self-direction through which students have more control over the pace and the spaces in which they learn. This flexibility is likely to increase with the advance of mobile technologies and an increased understanding of ‘m-learning’ techniques.

Diversity and inclusion

Here in TAAS, we create a learning environment in which diversity is valued and welcomed. As such, peoples’ culture, religion, race, socioeconomic background, and physical abilities are respected.

Global citizenship

We educate a diverse population of students aged 17 years and above. These students are counselled to behave ethically while acting responsibly towards the environment, in order to foster a sustainable future, all the while strengthening our communities’ shared morals, as entrenched in the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 4). TAAS ensures inclusive and quality education for all while promoting lifelong learning, especially in an era of transition to a greener economy.
